What Winthrop Means to Executive Director Linda Russell
Eighteen years ago I was blessed to begin my career in Assisted Living. I have always had a love for seniors and know looking back on my life that God was preparing me from childhood to be a part of caring and loving seniors with a Servant’s Heart which is our motto at Winthrop.
I had two grandmother’s who suffered from serious strokes when I was a young child and they had to go to Nursing Homes. At that time rehab had not been discovered so they lay in their beds until they passed away.
I think of them every day at Winthrop and honor them with my dedication to bringing all my residents quality of life and God’s love and each day they are a new blessing to me.
