The Charles Williams Real Estate and Investment Company was recently honored at the 25th AnnualSoutheastern Affordable Housing Management Association, SAHMA, as Best Management Company for the State of Georgia.  Carriage Apartments, located in Calhoun and which is owned and managed by Charles Williams REIC, was honored as BestProperty (Family) in Georgia.  Charles S. Williams, Jr. serves as owner/CEO of the company and M. Gardner Williams serves as owner/Vice President of Asset Management. Their combined leadership continues to direct this company to achieve positive recognition in the propertymanagement field.

The Best Management Company honor is given by the Georgia HAP (Housing Assistance Payment) Administrators, Inc. who contract with HUD to oversee affordable housing and who recognizes the management company who has demonstrated outstanding efforts in providing superior affordable housing.  The award criteria includes initiatives that provide quality of life improvements;  encouraging effective referral and/or support services linking relevant agencies to their clients, providing excellence in management and maintenance  practices.  The company continues to implement ongoing educational and training to it’s staff promoting the quality service to their clients and housing needs of the community.  A representative of Georgia HAP has commented,
