Charles Williams Real Estate Investment Corporation was founded in Rome, Georgia in 1964 by entrepreneur and businessman, Charles Williams, Sr. The initial vision of the company was to develop residential projects throughout the Southeast.

Charles Williams, Sr. (1934-1999) served Rome as a developer, businessman and founder and CEO of First Floyd Bank (today United Community Bank). His varied interest caused him to develop projects in a broad range of areas from multi-family residnetial developments to senior housing and healthcare related projects.

Corporate Headquarters - Charles Williams REIC developed a site in historic downtown Rome, Georgia for their corporate headquarters. Located at 5 East 6th Avenue, the facility serves as the hub of property management activities and developments.

Today, Charles Williams REIC is led by the sons of the founder. Charles Williams, Jr. serves as President and Gardner Williams as Vice-President and Asset Manager. The company carries on a tradition of developing and managing properties in a broad portfolio. The company has the staff and the hands-on ability to oversee projects from the ground up and to manage projects once completed.
